I was born and raised in the Lutheran church, but I am ordained as a non-denominational Christian pastor. While I felt the call of the Lord at various times early in my life, it was not until 2003 that I finally buckled down to study theology and begin the process of my ordination. I am now 33 years old and "For HIM Ministries" is an independent church charter which I started. While originally it was never my intent to become a marriage ministry, I found it gave me great joy to perform weddings for family and friends. As I researched various ministries out there performing weddings, I realized that something was missing, "our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Many of the ministries perform what they call "religious" ceremonies, but in the same sentence they also offer "non-religious" secular ceremonies, "non-religious" spiritual ceremonies, "inter-faith" ceremonies, and so forth. I bring this up not to criticize other wedding ministries, but to use it to make a point about this ministry. I believe in the Sanctity of your Wedding Day. I believe that God, who established marriage, continues to bless it with His ever-present support and love. I believe that on your joyous day we celebrate not only with family and friends, but with Christ. The marriage feast that has no end! What I offer as a minister is a Christian wedding. It is my prayer that this ministry is used to offer you a personal and unique wedding, written especially for you, to honor your love for each other in the presence of God.
